My good name – yes-french by canadian heritage – does not make me an automatic ASSHOLE, does it.

I strongly request a clear posting by your blog about the confused identity. If I found these stupid remarks to my name than anyone else would, too. Clear my name of your private argument right now. Thank you for your cooperation.

I stumbled onto your site quite by accident but was quick to learn that not all things about Hawaii on the internet are lovely and innocent.

I read no further than one paragraph when I saw your reference to the title of a song “Little Brown Girl” and the remark of it being racist.

A great little album of vocal hula music, done in a very traditional style. A couple tracks devolve into kitsch (”Little Brown Gal” is amusingly racist) but most are lovely. Produced by Tommy Kearns, who seems to have been a big name in Hawaiian music, although I can’t find much about him online; maybe some Hawaiian buffs can fill us in. Dig the instructional diagrams on the album’s reverse side. And as always, enjoy!

It is a sad time that we live in and made even sadder by the likes of you and you comments. I am sure the person that wrote the song was not thinking “how can I make this a racist song degrading women and Hawaiians, oh let me think maybe if I say little brown girl I can scold the world for being so racist”.

These are the facts ASS HOLE.

1. Hawaiian people are brown by birth and they are proud of it.
2. Millions upon millions of people save and scrimp for years to go to Hawaii to get a tan. Yes white folk want to be brown too.
3. Sun Tan lotion companies have made billions selling lotions to white people so they too can be tan, brown, or whatever when they lay on the beach at Waikiki.
4. In case you don’t know Hawaiians don’t mind being the beautiful brown complexion people they are. It is scum like you that wants them to feel ashamed of their birthright.
5. Should they be ashamed of being brown? Only a racist like you would know!
6. Take off your little racist colored glasses you ass hole.
7. Give it a rest you little man and let the world heal and take what is given every day and make something beautiful.
8. It is people like you that bring on hate and disdain for the people of the world.
9. Hawaii is beautiful but you are not and you do it a disservice.
